Spiced Protein Pancakes w/ Noka Organics Macadamia Butter (vegan)

I'm addicted to protein pancakes. It's a fantastic boost of carbs, protein, healthy fats, and fiber first thing in the morning. What's not to love?


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1 scoop Orgain Spiced Latte Protein Powder

  • 1 tsp flax egg (1 tsp ground flaxseed + 2 tbsp water)

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp ground clove

  • pinch of salt

Toppings

  • 1 packet Noka Organics Macadamia Butter

  • Pomegranate seeds

  • Hemp hearts


Directions:

  1. Blend together all the dry ingredients (oats, protein, cinnamon, clove, baking powder, salt) till a fine powder forms.

  2. Mix in the flax egg and almond milk.

  3. Heat up a nonstick pan to medium heat. Pour the pancake batter onto a lightly oiled surface. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side.

  4. Pour nut butter over and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
